Our innovate access capabilities together with our technical abilities put us at the forefront for testing, inspecting and reporting on facade and structure corrosion of historical structures.
From the largest brick-built/steel framed building in Europe to one of the world’s most iconic structures, we have been involved in taking care of some of the world’s most famous buildings. We carried out the most comprehensive range of condition surveys ever undertaken to the massive Battersea Power Station, from roped access climbing each of the four huge chimneys to condition survey every square meter of the facade.
Other projects of note have been the Victorian reservoir at Tower Bridge, originally used to raise centre spans, intrusive investigations at Alexandra Palace and several ancient monuments for the Welsh Assembly.
We were proud to be the consulting engineers that carried out the total condition survey to the external facades of the world famous Savoy Hotel, London, ahead of its two year, two hundred and twenty million pound refurbishment. Using laboratory testing, concrete analysis techniques and years of experience, we can help protect any structure for years to come.
